Photographs of Lightning
Posted on March 21st, 2008 by Gabriel HarperI was digging around my computer looking for a particular media file needed for a project when I stumbled across these pics from last summer. There was a very intense and long-lasting heat lightning storm visible from my rooftop, so of course I grabbed my camera and tried to capture some of it. At the time I was using a pretty old Sony 1.2MP so the picture quality is far from superb. The coolness factor is pretty high though, and if for no better reason than not losing them I decided to post them here.
It took around 140-150 photos to get these five shots. Yes, lightning is hard to photograph with an old digital camera.
